Please Note! We will be holding this meeting at a new location! Christopher Ross of Craft and Stem (C&S) has offered their brand new facility to us for this meeting.
Craft and STEM is Utah's first Production Makerspace and Craft Studio!
What is a Production Makerspace, exactly? Basically, it's a crafting paradise, designed specifically for short-run production of handmade items. The space is versatile, functional, and stocked with an ever-expanding array of crafting tools.
C&S was founded by Jessica Belnap and Christopher Ross, a husband-and-wife team with a singular dream: create a space in which they and others can build, create and profit from useful, beautiful and nerdy handmade goods. With backgrounds in (among other things) finance and technology, Belnap and Ross were crafting hobbyists until they took the plunge into full time with Craft and STEM at the beginning of 2018.
Chris has graciously opened the facilities doors to us for our meeting and so he can show us what capabilities they have there.
This is our first member meeting following up on HellFire 23. We'll talk about how things went, and what we can improve next year. We'll go over some of the pictures and press that we received.
We will also talk about the rest of the 2018 flying season. What we have coming up. It would
be great if you could attend. If you have a good story or pictures to share from HellFire, we'd really like you to share them with everyone.
Hope to see you there.
