Events like HellFire and LDRS 39 are only possible through the generous support we have received from the hobby rocketry community. We would appreciate you considering sponsoring or even coming out to LDRS 39 this year. Your company would be listed as an "official" LDRS 39 Sponsor in our electronic and printed materials. Every flyer will get a packet containing essential information about LDRS 39. Sponsors may provide us with their catalogs, brochures, and other promo materials for the packets.
If you want to sell at LDRS 39
We want to invite you to make the trip to Wendover, Utah, for LDRS 39. Sign up for LDRS 39 today at www.ldrs39.org. Make sure you reserve your hotel and sign up for the banquet also. Please join us for this once-in-a-lifetime (quite literally) event. If you want to attend LDRS 39 as a vendor, there are some fees and forms required:
1. Let us know you are coming: Please send an email to
sponsorship@uroc.org and let us know you plan to be a vendor at LDRS39. We'd like to know when you plan on arriving and how much space you need for your setup.
2. Event Business License: Each vendor is required to sign up for a temporary business license from Tooele County
Tooele County Business App. You must apply for this directly with Tooele County. Please email us a copy of your license once you receive it from Tooele County and bring a copy LDRS as well.
Important! All vendors will be required to show their permits before selling at LDRS 39. IF YOU DO NOT HAVE THE PERMIT, YOU WILL NOT BE ALLOWED TO SELL AT LDRS 39!
3. BLM Fees: Pay 3% of gross sales amount to the BLM. UROC will request a general accounting of your gross profits in sales. From that, you will need to pay a 3% fee to UROC for your portion of the BLM fees.
4. Utah State Sales Tax: Pay appropriate sales taxes to the state of Utah (Tax forms and schedules provided when you arrive on-site at the launch)

The Utah Rocket Club has held a truly unique launch site for almost three decades, but all good things come to an end. Due to the difficulty in coordinating commercial flights and our flights in this same small space, the Federal Aviation Administration (FAA) has notified us that this will be our last year flying on the salt. We respect this decision and understand that the FAA did not make it lightly. The Utah Rocket Club appreciates the cooperation, patience, and support that the FAA has provided to our club through the years.
