On Friday (August 2nd) and Saturday (August 3rd) 8th Street Tacos will be onsite to feed you!
Salt Lake has a bustling food truck scene. But long before any of the trucks pulled up curbside, the true OGs of the industry were serving the original street fare. The taco carts on 8th & State Street are the venerable founders of the street food movement in Utah. Although the landmark Sears store that flanked their cards is closed, what they started is flourishing. So we all owe a due to their creation. That's why our truck is named in honor of them, the original street tacos of 8th street.
Where we've expanded on those original offerings, everything is grounded in tradition. You won't find fusion tacos here. The classics: Carnitas, Barbacoa, Chicken Tinga... Fres, locally-sourced when possible and ALWAYS made to order. We hope to do the originals the justice they deserve.

Give these guys a try! I promise you won't be disappointed and it will make it worth their while for the looong drive in a food truck all the way to the flats. They will also have cold drinks for you!
