Kid's Fly-It/Take-It Program
The Fly-It/Take-It program at Hellfire 23 was a great success. We gave away over 50 rockets to new fliers! This is part of UROC's commitment to our youth and promoting Science and Technology. If you review the montage of pictures from last year, you will see many smiling first-time fliers with their rockets! Thank you to all who donated time, rockets, and motors!!!
We hope to repeat our success this year. The Cooper family will provide a location for the FITI booth, 12-24 rockets, and some staffing for the booth.
Here are the "rules" that we are planning to use, very similar to last year.
1. First-time flyers and children 13 & under are eligible to participate
2. Only one free rocket per person. If you are part of a large family or group, we ask that you take no more than one rocket per two-three fliers. We will help all interested members of your group prepare and fly the rockets. They are capable of many flights!
3. Participants will prep rocket for flight at Fly It-Take It booth
4. Only one free motor per person – additional motors are available from onsite vendors
5. One free flight per adult – additional flights will require UROC membership
6. The rocket is yours to keep! Enjoy your flight, and we hope to see you at future UROC events.
