Events like LDRS happen because of the awesome rocketry community and their willingness to help out and volunteer. Every registrant will be asked to work a 2-hour shift at some point during the event. We will do everything we can to accommodate your desired time and date.
If you want to be a hero and help out with more time, click the button below and sign up for slot(s) that you'd like to work. Please note, we depend on folks making the commitment to work their time slots, so please don't sign up for a time if you cannot fulfill that commitment.
We will need volunteers for the following positions for all 4 days:
FSO (Flight Safety Officer)
FSO Away Cell (Flight Safety Officer)
LCO (Launch Control Officer)
RSO Away Cell
Pad Manager (Left Range)
Pad Manager (Right Range)
Pad Manager (Away Cell)
The premier spots are front row with a great view of all pad areas. The spaces are 12' wide and deep enough for one canopy up to 12' X 12' plus two vehicles behind the canopy.
Utility cargo trailers will be permitted, but no high-profile trailers, campers, RVs and the like will not. Also, no generators. These spaces will have ready access to the flight line, RSO, portable toilets, concessions, etc.
Trust us when we say these are the most prime of the prime real estate on the salt. These spots are absolutely only on a first come, first served basis.
Here is how it works ... Via the LDRS 39 web-site you must:
- Pre-register as a flyer for LDRS 39
- Sign up for at least 4 additional slots
- Notify us that you have completed pre-registration and volunteer shift sign-up.
We'll verify your pre-registration and range duty and put you in the next available Premiere Volunteer parking spot.
