UROC's Vice President Kelly Hall and his son Kage have finally gone over the edge, or at least they will be when the jump into Utah Lake in the middle of February. They will again be participating in the Special Olympic's Polar Plunge.
The Polar Plunge is a unique opportunity for individuals, organizations and businesses to support Special Olympic's Utah athletes by collecting pledges and donations for being brave enough to jump into the frigid, icy waters of Utah Lake in the middle of winter. The Polar Plunge is a fundraiser benefiting Special Olympics Utah.

Chapter 1: Family Guy
It was Saturday night. The kids had been busy all day and Maria's friend Ruby was over. Carrie and I had been busy all day too and it was time for dinner. We all went to get a burger, came home, and decided to just relax and have fun.
We started with a game of Bananas, a simplified sort of Scrabble-like game in which each player builds words in his/her own array. Players draw additional hidden letter tiles as they consume all of their own and they can exchange duds for new letters, but at a rate of 1-to-3. If not careful, a player can amass a large number of tiles.

UROC Meetings

The January Meeting of the Utah Rocket Club took place on January 11th, 2010. It was held at the Salt Lake County Complex in room N1100. The meeting began at approximately 7:00pm by the president Fred Williams.
The TARC (Team America Rocketry Challenge) will have 4 high schools from Utah involved. 3 teams will be represented from Logan, and 1 from Ogden. No date has been set yet.
